I was so pleased to welcome Dr. Tracey Nicholls (Lewis University, Philosophy) to Stetson earlier this month. She had a full schedule which reached more than 150 students!
Along with two students from Lewis, Dr. Nicholls ran a bystander intervention training event focused on bringing the insights of improvisation theory to sexual assault awareness and intervention and held a large-scale discussion on language and the violence of metaphor. Dr. Nicholls also led a combined course on aesthetics and ethics and gave a Philosophy Club talk on her book: An Ethics of Improvisation.
Thanks to Tracey for bringing her expertise to Stetson!
