IJFAB blog

The International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics has developed a fantastic blog with a lot of really interesting contributors, including Eva Kittay, Margrit Shildrick, and many others.

Ellen Feder recently posted an entry in memory of Ruby, the woman whose experiences with her intersex daughters helped Ellen develop her critique of normalizing surgeries (to correct atypical sex anatomy) carried out at infancy.

Among other thoughtful posts, see Lynette Reid’s entry on cancer prevention, biocitizenry, and Angelina Jolie’s double mastectomy.
